Bendi addresses the challenge of managing global supply chain risk with its flagship platform, Prism, which automates supply chain mapping and ESG risk assessments. Using AI to identify, analyse, and classify over 100 risk indicators – including human rights violations, environmental hazards, and governance concerns – in real-time across multiple data sources and in over 35 languages, Prism provides businesses with a faster, more cost-effective way to surface risks that may otherwise remain hidden deep within their supply chains.

Sustainability platform Fashion For Good is launching a tool to map textile waste hotspots globally. Called World of Waste, the goal is to aggregate data points about existing supplies of textile waste — such as waste quantity, type and composition — and enable textile recyclers among others to access it as they try to scale their recycling capacity and as fashion strives to meet its circularity goals.

A freely accessible, user-friendly, self-assessment tool—True Cost Calculator (TCC)—has been launched for the fashion ecosystem, taking into account the full lifecycle of a garment, measuring the impact step by step—from production to transport, use, and waste processing.

Since its launch in 2015, H&M Foundation’s Global Change Award (GCA) has provided 46 innovations with support and combined grants of €8 million.

While it will continue to award 10 winners every year, with each receiving €200,000, the GCA 2025 is switching to a nomination-based process instead of an open application system and looking to adopt a systems change approach, aimed at equipping changemakers to consider the entire textile value chain and its interconnectedness.

The award is seeking innovative ideas addressing different high emission areas across the textile value chain, including sustainable materials and processes, responsible production, mindful consumption and ‘wildcards’ that support its purpose.
